I've always been a huge fan of retro art.

The covers of the original atari games were always a huge inspiration for me as an artist. They had to take a game made of dots and sell it as a universe saving adventure.

It was amazing marketing through art. 

As time went on I kept idolising the style of the 80s and allowed it to shape my tastes. it's often the style I return to when I illustrate for myself.
